Mahama Launches 4-Day Volta Region Campaign Tour, Unveils Development Plans

National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has kicked off a four-day campaign tour of the Volta Region, dubbed #Mahama4Change2024. The tour aims to engage with various stakeholders, including traditional and religious leaders, community members, market women, and youth.

In Juapong, Mahama addressed a community gathering attended by the North Tongu Union of Chiefs, outlining his vision for the region’s social and economic transformation. He highlighted the NDC’s past achievements in the region, including major infrastructural and developmental initiatives.

The campaign tour will include visits to Dededo in the Ho West Constituency, a courtesy call on the Asogli Traditional Council, a community durbar at Kpetoe in the Agotime Kpetoe Constituency, and a youth town hall meeting at the Ho Technical University.

Mahama’s campaign spokesperson, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, emphasized the comprehensive approach of the tour, stating, “This inclusive approach underscores our commitment to engaging with all sectors of the community.”

Mahama’s commitment to developing the Volta Region is evident in his vision of building a better Ghana together. The #Mahama4Change2024 tour is expected to resonate with the region’s residents, who are eager for progress and development.
