Former First Lady Lordina Mahama inspired hundreds of minister’s wives at the 2024 Ministers Wives Conference of the Assemblies of God Church in Kasoa, Ghana.
Speaking at the three-day conference held at the Pentecost Retreat Center, Lordina Mahama drew parallels between the Samaritan woman’s encounter with Jesus and the critical role women play in spreading God’s message.
The conference, themed; “Seasoned to Send the Light,” emphasized the importance of women being messengers of God’s word and sending light into the world.
Lordina Mahama highlighted the significance of women being the first to receive and share the news of Jesus’ resurrection, demonstrating God’s trust in women to spread His message. The conference provided a valuable platform for women to come together, learn, and equip themselves with the skills and knowledge needed to fulfill this important mission.
Lordina Mahama expressed her gratitude for the thought-provoking conversations and reflections at the conference, encouraging the women to continue shining the light in their communities and beyond.
