Accra, Ghana – The Lions International District 418 is set to make a significant impact in the community with their upcoming District Vision Project. Scheduled from October 7th to 10th, this initiative will provide free cataract surgery and conduct a vision awareness campaign at the Save the Nation Sight Clinic in East Legon.
This noble endeavor underscores the Lions Club’s dedication to serving communities and improving lives, particularly for those who might not otherwise have access to essential eye care services. Cataract surgery can be life-changing, restoring vision and enhancing the quality of life for many individuals.
The campaign will feature a team of dedicated medical professionals performing surgeries and offering educational resources about eye health. This hands-on approach ensures that participants not only receive the treatment they need but also gain valuable knowledge about maintaining good eye health.
The Lions Club invites all those in need of eye care to participate in this life-enhancing project. By addressing eye health, they aim to improve overall well-being and empower individuals to lead more fulfilling lives.
