The Kwahu United Association of Metropolitan Chicago celebrated Easter 2024 with a fundraising dinner dance at The Holiday INN , Northshore Banquets, 5300 W. Touhy, Skokie, Illinois. The annual public event aims to raise funds to support development projects in The Kwahu Traditional area of Ghana.
Easter celebrations are deeply rooted in the Kwahu community’s traditions, initially focusing on religious activities, family reunions, and fundraising for church and community developments.
