The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) is mourning the loss of two renowned media personalities, Mike Eghan and Nana Kwasi Gyan-Apenteng, who passed away recently. Mike Eghan, a veteran broadcaster, was buried on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at All Souls Chapel, Lashibi Funeral Home.
A forty-day gathering, known as “Adaduanan”, will be held in memory of Nana Kwasi Gyan-Apenteng, a former Chairman of the National Media Commission (NMC), on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Forecourt of the Ghana International Press Centre in Accra.
The GJA has described the death of the two media personalities as a big loss to the media fraternity and the nation, given their quality services to Ghana. The association is calling on members of the media fraternity to participate in the scheduled funeral activities to pay their last respects to the deceased.
