Thank God for bringing us to another Christmas and into a new year. I wish all community
members a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year filled with blessings, prosperity, and
abundance.
Early this year, 2023, I took over the office as President of the Ghana National Council and got
my executives to begin working. We worked assiduously to organize the Ghana Independence
celebration and went ahead to work towards organizing Ghanafest. Both events were organized well, to the admiration of the Ghanaian community, and they were without challenges and problems. I want to thank all affiliates and other community members for pointing out the
mistakes they observed, and I want to assure everyone that we will correct such errors and ensure we do not repeat them.
As always said, I am a consensus builder and open to ideas for our shared growth and
understanding. My administration and Ghana House incorporated will continue to pursue our
much-awaited idea of getting a place for our events (GHANA HOUSE), and we hope to continue working hard to achieve it in the new year.
The Ghanaian Community Health Clinic is in its entire operation and, at this moment, has been
operating as a mobile clinic shuttling between where we have most of our communities. I want to encourage all community members, insured or uninsured, documented, or undocumented, to use the Ghanaian community health clinic to seek health care services. For now, health care is free.
Our doctors and nurses are volunteering their precious time so that we can have good health care.We shall also work on getting the clinic permanent accommodation in the coming year.
At this time, the clinic is operating from donations from individuals and Affiliates, and I would want to ask all members of our community to do well and donate to the clinic; this clinic is
serving and helping save lives; therefore, do not hesitate to donate to this essential cause. I pray
and wish well for members of our community who lost their loved ones in the year, and May all
the departed rest peacefully in Bosom of the Almighty God.
Once again, I wish everyone a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
