Ghana’s Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations has initiated an audit of frequency authorizations. This effort is part of the government’s Operation Recover All Loot agenda, aimed at recovering state resources misappropriated by private interests.

The Minister for Communication has instructed the Director-General of the National Communications Authority to provide a list of all frequency authorizations issued or renewed within the last 60 days. This marks the first phase of an audit designed to ensure the use of state resources in the broadcasting sector.

The Operation Recover All Loot initiative seeks to address corruption, recover looted state resources, and enforce accountability measures in Ghana’s public sector. By focusing on recovering misappropriated funds and resources, the program aims to strengthen governance and provide fiscal space for national development.

As the audit progresses, the public will be notified of any further actions taken upon receipt of the information. This move demonstrates Ghana’s commitment to accountability, ensuring that state resources are utilized for the benefit of the nation.
