The 11 Mechanised Battalion of the Ghana Army observed International Labour Day on May 1, 2025, with an endurance walk and recreational activities in Bolgatanga. The event, led by the Commander Rear, Lieutenant Colonel Kakra Sasu-Antwi, featured a 20-kilometre walk through the town, aimed at enhancing the fitness and combat readiness of officers and soldiers.
The walk formed part of the unit’s routine physical training programme. Lieutenant Colonel Sasu-Antwi congratulated personnel for their job output and encouraged them to maintain their high standards. The event was held at the unit’s recreational grounds and ended at the Jubilee Park.
