Accra, Ghana – Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa today hosted Ambassador Virginia Palmer for her farewell visit at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commending her significant contributions to Ghana-United States relations.
OKUDZETO Ablakwa praised Ambassador Palmer as a “great friend of Ghana,” highlighting her outstanding efforts in strengthening ties between the two nations across a wide range of areas. He noted that her tenure leaves behind “positive giant footprints” that will undoubtedly inspire her successors.
The Minister conveyed Ghana’s well wishes to Ambassador Palmer for her future endeavors, acknowledging that while she is departing Ghana, the nation will always hold a special place in her heart.
