A fire outbreak occurred at the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange in Accra, an area colloquially known as ‘Circle.’ According to reports, approximately 100 wooden structures were engulfed in flames.

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) responded swiftly to the emergency, actively working to extinguish the fire. ADO Alex King Nartey, a representative from the GNFS Public Affairs Department, assured the public that firefighters successfully prevented the fire from spreading further. “We are constantly engaging the fire,” stated ADO Nartey.

As the situation unfolds, the GNFS continues its efforts to bring the fire under control. The cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time, and investigations are expected to commence once the fire has been fully subdued.
