The Ministry of Finance has announced that the Mid-Year Fiscal Policy Review will be presented to Parliament today, Tuesday, July 23, 2024.
According to a statement issued by the Public Relations Unit of the Ministry, the review will provide an update on the implementation of the 2024 Budget, including insights into Ghana’s economic and fiscal performance for the first half of the year.

The statement noted that the review will cover growth measures, revenue, and expenditure performance, financing, debt sustainability, and related matters. It will also discuss the IMF-supported Post Covid-19 Programme for Economic Growth (PC-PEG).
Additionally, the review will highlight budget implementation plans for the rest of the year, including possible policy revisions focused on SME growth, updates on key government programs, revenue measures, expenditure controls, and financing adjustments based on the half-year performance.
This will be the first time Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam will be presenting a statement in Parliament since assuming office in February 2024.
