The family of the late Ambassador Sam Pee Yalley paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban S. K. Bagbin, to announce his passing and communicate the dates for his funeral rites. The Speaker recalled his last conversation with Ambassador Yalley, describing him as a unique leader with courage, clarity, and conviction.

The Speaker emphasized the importance of preserving Ambassador Yalley’s legacy for future generations and assured the family of his presence at the final funeral rites. The Clerk to Parliament, Mr. Ebenezer Ahuma Djietror, paid tribute to the late Ambassador, describing him as a principled man committed to national development.
