Mrs. Lordina Mahama, the wife of the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, recently brought joy to the lives of female artisans in the Nkoranza North Constituency. Through her foundation, she donated 120 sewing machines and 100 hair dryers to support the businesses of dressmakers and hairdressers in the area.
As she presented the equipment, Lordina encouraged the women to prioritize quality customer service and demonstrate commitment and determination to succeed. She also took the opportunity to reiterate her husband’s proposal to implement a Free Apprenticeship Programme if elected president in the 2024 elections.
The programme aims to benefit both apprentices and their masters and madams, helping their businesses thrive. Lordina’s foundation is dedicated to supporting those in need, and this initiative is a testament to her commitment to empowering women and communities.
The recipients of the donation were overjoyed and grateful for the support, which will undoubtedly help them grow their businesses and improve their livelihoods. Lordina’s selfless act is a reminder that sharing and supporting one another is essential for collective prosperity.
