Education Minister Convenes High-Level Dialogue on GALOP

Accra, Ghana – The Minister for Education, Honourable Haruna Iddrisu, has convened a high-level partnership dialogue on the Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project (GALOP) and its Second Additional Financing (AF2) at the Ministry. The meeting brought together representatives from government agencies, development partners, and stakeholders to assess progress, share insights, and coordinate efforts to enhance learning outcomes in basic education across Ghana.

The dialogue provided a platform for key institutions to present their work and progress. Presenters included the Ghana Education Service, National Council for Curriculum and Assessment, National Schools Inspectorate Authority, Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Community of Excellence, GEELAB, and the National Teaching Council.

Honourable Iddrisu emphasized the government’s commitment to improving learning outcomes through strong partnerships and data-driven reforms. He expressed appreciation for the collaboration and dedication of stakeholders in transforming basic education in Ghana. The Minister’s remarks underscored the importance of collective effort in achieving educational goals.
