The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is celebrating the success of its “Operation Keep the Lights On” initiative, aimed at enhancing revenue collection. According to Charles Nii Ayiku Ayiku, General Manager of External Communications at ECG, the operation has yielded impressive results, significantly improving the company’s financial standing.
Speaking to Energy News, Mr. Ayiku revealed that a comprehensive assessment will be conducted once the operation concludes on January 31. The evaluation will measure the initiative’s overall impact and determine whether ECG will undertake similar operations in the future to sustain efficiency in revenue collection.
