Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye, a prominent Ghanaian politician, has found himself at the center of a swirling controversy. A viral TikTok video has accused him of theft and unlawful activities, but Dr. Okoe Boye has vehemently denied these allegations, labeling them as “entirely false, baseless, and aimed at misleading the public”.

The incident in question occurred on January 18, 2025, when a group, allegedly led by Kabu Saint Emmanuel and Joseph Tetteh, both affiliated with the NDC, invaded Dr. Okoe Boye’s storage facility in Adjiringanor. The group claimed to have oral authorization, but this has been disputed. Once inside, they vandalized the premises and made off with several items, including Dr. Okoe Boye’s personal belongings, furniture, and even boxes of books he authored.

In a surprising twist, two police officers from the Teshie police command, dressed in civilian clothing, reportedly resisted attempts by responding officers to halt the raid. This has raised questions about the involvement of law enforcement in the incident.

Despite the widespread sharing of the accusations on social media, Dr. Okoe Boye has urged the public to disregard the “unfounded allegations.” He has assured Ghanaians that the Ghana Police Service is actively investigating the matter to ensure that justice is served.

As the investigation continues, the public eagerly awaits further clarification from law enforcement authorities on the incident. Dr. Okoe Boye remains committed to serving the community and Ghana with integrity, transparency, and an unwavering commitment to public service.
