The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia embarked on a constituency-focused campaign tour, visiting various communities in the North East Region. His journey began in the Nalerigu/Gambaga, Yunyoo, and Bunkpurugu constituencies, where he engaged with enthusiastic party supporters and ordinary Ghanaians who share his vision for Ghana’s future.
Dr. Bawumia expressed his gratitude to the traditional authorities, including the Nayiri, Gbintiri Naaba, Yunyoo Rana, and Bunkpurugu Naaba, for their warm welcomes. On the second day of his campaign, he connected with the chiefs and people of Chereponi and Mion constituencies, despite the rains, the youth’s energy was remarkable.
The third day of his campaign took him to the Kpandai, Wulensi, and Bimbilla constituencies, where he met with chiefs, stakeholders, and the youth. Bawumia emphasized his role as an agent of change as Vice President and his commitment to doing even more as President. The enthusiastic endorsement of his vision was both exciting and humbling, reinforcing his belief that “it is possible” to break the eight and secure a better future for Ghana.
