Vice Presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia addressed crowds in the Lambussie, Nandom, and Lawra constituencies as part of his nationwide campaign.
He announced plans to launch a credit scoring system, citing the issuance of the Ghana Card, merging of databases, and growth of financial inclusion through mobile money interoperability.
“This system will enable citizens to purchase essential items and access loans,” he said.
Dr. Bawumia noted that in other countries, people can obtain mobile phones for free with a contract based on their credit score.
He criticized his opponents for their stance on the issue.
“I shared my vision for Ghana’s future with the people,” he said.
The crowd responded to his message.
