Accra, Ghana – The Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry, and Agribusiness, Sampson Ahi, attended the 65th anniversary launch of FanMilk Ghana Limited, a leading dairy and beverage producer under Danone. The celebration marked decades of the company’s commitment to quality, innovation, and community impact in Ghana.
The Deputy Minister praised FanMilk’s contributions to Ghana’s economy, describing the company as a model of policy meeting purpose. He noted that FanMilk has built an institution of joy, generated jobs, and become a symbol of Ghanaian enterprise.
FanMilk has grown from a small enterprise in 1960 to a dominant player in Ghana’s food and beverage sector, with a vast network of vendors providing sustainable livelihoods for generations. The company has also invested in youth engagement and environmental sustainability initiatives, including a modern wastewater treatment plant and solar energy installations.
