The Church of the Ghanaian Community of Chicago, COGCC, celebrated Easter with a memorable service that reflected the occasion’s vibrant traditions and spiritual significance. Easter services are a cornerstone of the Christian faith, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ and offering a time for reflection and community assembly. Such events often include special sermons, music, and community activities that bring together people of all ages to commemorate and highlight their faith and cultural heritage.
Regular and non-regular members of the COGCC happily came to celebrate the Lord’s death and resurrection and to strengthen their faith.
The service was vibrant and glorious as friends and family joyously sang and praised the Lord.
Reverend Emmanuel Betson’s Resurrection message was informative. We heard the prophets of old prophecy about our salvation through Christ’s generations before they happened.
