The Chief Executive of COCOBOD, Dr. Ransford Abbey, has concluded the second phase of his regional tour with a visit to the Ashanti Region. The visit was part of a broader effort to engage with stakeholders and revitalize the cocoa industry.
During his visit, Dr. Abbey held a staff meeting at COCOBOD’s Ashanti Regional Office in Kumasi. He encouraged staff to strive for excellence and provide dedicated support to cocoa farmers, emphasizing the importance of integrity in their work.
Dr. Abbey also paid a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace. He briefed the monarch on the current state of COCOBOD and sought his wise counsel and blessings as the organisation charts a course to revitalise the cocoa industry.
