The Centre’s CEO, Simon Madjie, has reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to reviewing existing collaborations and exploring future partnerships with the UK-Ghana Partnership for Jobs and Economic Transformation (Ghana JET). During a courtesy visit by the Ghana JET team, led by Madam Arhin, Mr. Madjie highlighted the pivotal role Ghana JET played in securing a £1.12 million investment in Ghana’s textile and garment sector in 2024. This investment generated 1,500 jobs and improved livelihoods.

Ghana JET’s support for the Centre’s investor outreach missions to countries such as Bangladesh, Thailand, and India was also acknowledged. Additionally, the team appreciated a grant that facilitated missions to Thailand, Vietnam, and Las Vegas.

Madam Arhin expressed Ghana JET’s openness to partnering on initiatives related to investment and ease of doing business. She welcomed the ongoing reviews of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) Act and Tariff Regime, noting their potential to stimulate the domestic market and attract investments into key sectors. Ghana JET is a program contributing to economic transformation in Ghana, creating jobs and supporting inclusive growth and poverty reduction, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
