Sixty years ago today, November 21, 1965, the Black Stars of Ghana carved their names into the granite of African sporting history. With grit, artistry, and unyielding pride, they lifted the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) trophy for the second time , proving that Ghana was not just a participant in African football, but its undisputed king.
In the spirit of Sankofa , looking back to move forward , we honor the heroes of the 5th Edition of AFCON, whose legacy continues to ignite the dreams of generations.

The grand stage was set in Tunis, Tunisia. The hosts, buoyed by a roaring home crowd, sought to dethrone Ghana, the defending champions. What unfolded was more than a football match; it was a clash of wills, a test of tactical brilliance, and a battle of nerves.
