Ghanafest 2022 started fiercely at one of the elegant Chateau Del Mar Banquet Halls, Hickory Hills Illinois with the Corporate Excellence Dinner Award. Ghanaian politician, businessman, and Presidential hopeful, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, was the toast of the crowd. He advised Ghanaians abroad to come home and invest. Mr. Agyepong stated from his own experience that investment in Ghana earns more dividends than in the United States. He however cautioned potential investors to be careful with who they entrust their money. “Your own family members would take advantage of you if you are not careful”, he forewarned the audience. In general, it was a great evening to remember.
