During the meeting, the association proudly ratified its constitution, welfare bylaws, and core values—establishing a solid framework for unity, growth, and active community involvement.
A key moment of the gathering was the formal introduction of the Association’s newly elected president, Donatus Kotogbor, along with his executive team. Mr. Kotogbor presented his lineup of executives, including ex-officio members, welfare officers, and other officials, all of whom are dedicated to advancing the organization’s mission and goals.
This introduction marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Association, as its leaders work together to uphold Southern Volta’s rich legacy while implementing innovative strategies to enhance cultural preservation and community engagement. Attendees were eager to hear the president’s vision, which emphasized inclusivity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to improving the welfare of all members.
The association’s leadership also unveiled an exciting roadmap for the future. Quarterly in-person meetings will now be held to foster stronger connections and camaraderie among members. On August 8, 2025, the association will host its highly anticipated picnic—a day filled with joy, laughter, and cherished memories. The following day, August 9, will feature a Thanksgiving service, offering a moment to reflect, express gratitude, and renew the group’s collective purpose.
This new era for the Southern Volta Association reflects a deep commitment to the well-being of its members, the preservation of cultural heritage, and the cultivation of a vibrant, supportive community.
