Participants came out in force for the 5K walk and marketplace, reflecting a shared commitment to breaking stigma and embracing difference. A key highlight was the impactful debut of the Ghana Nurses Association Illinois (GNAI). Wearing custom blue t-shirts, members walked purposefully and participated in a post-walk seminar centered on mental illness. Their session directly addressed cultural stigmas, offering clarity, compassion, and education. To further uplift attendees, GNAI presented gifts that spoke to the spirit of generosity and care that defined the day.

Partnering alongside GNAI, the Ghanaian Community Health Clinic provided free health screenings that added essential support to the day’s programming. Blood pressure checks, diabetes screenings, and holistic health consultations offered participants more than just services—they offered empowerment and care deeply rooted in community understanding.

The event flourished with music, food, games, and diverse resources, all underscoring the power of collaboration. Organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to the First Presbyterian Church, Ghana Nurses Association Illinois, Ghanaian Community Health Clinic, and the array of local partners whose efforts made the day unforgettable.

Enoch’s World continues to grow, with its mission expanding beyond a single event. It is a movement dedicated to uplifting families impacted by autism and reshaping societal attitudes through action and compassion. The rallying cry—“Let’s break the stigma. Let’s embrace our differences”—resonated through every step, conversation, and shared moment.
