A one-week observance service was held at the St. Cyprian’s Anglican Church in remembrance of Nana Oheneba Adusei Poku, the Akyempimhene.
The Central Business District of Kumasi’s Adum has been closed for the 40th-day funeral rites of Nana Adusei Poku, son of Otumfuo Opoku Ware II.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II attended a mass for the late Adusei Poku at St. Cyprian Church, Kumasi, on August 22, 2024. The ceremony was attended by family, officials, and others.
Shops and businesses in the area were closed for the observance. The funeral date for the late Adusei Poku is expected to be announced.
