Accra, Ghana – Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, led a delegation of chiefs and noblemen from Asanteman to pay a courtesy call on former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at his Nima residence yesterday, Tuesday, June 3, 2025.
The former President expressed his profound gratitude to the Asantehene for his invaluable guidance and support throughout his tenure as the nation’s leader. He particularly highlighted Otumfuo’s pivotal role as Chairman of the Committee of Eminent Chiefs, which included the Yagbonwura and the Nayiri, in brokering peace in the Dagbon traditional area.
