Today’s vetting session took an interesting turn when Frank Annoh-Dompreh Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency has demanded an apology from Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah. Citing Mr. Buah’s harsh criticism of former President Akufo-Addo during the last State of the Nation Address.

Mr. Armah Kofi Buah, the Deputy Minority Leader, had described Akufo-Addo’s eight years in office as a clear example of how not to govern a country. He had also stated that the outgoing leader’s tenure would remain a “timely reminder of how not to govern a country.”

Annoh-Dompreh took issue with these remarks, deeming them unacceptable and demanding an apology from Buah. This development adds a new layer to the already intense vetting process, highlighting the tensions and disagreements that can arise in the political sphere.
