Ghana’s Minister for Railway Development, Peter Amewu, has presented what he described as a remarkable achievements in the country’s railway sector at the Jubilee House. According to Mr Amewu, the transformative legacy of the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government has been evident in the unparalleled investment and visionary leadership in reviving and modernizing Ghana’s railway sector.
The railway sector is a critical catalyst for sustainable development and economic progress in Ghana. He said the government’s efforts have been focused on developing a robust and efficient railway system that can drive economic growth and development.
As Minister for Railway Development, Amewu said he has been instrumental in driving the government’s agenda to develop the railway sector. According to him, his experience as a former Minister for Energy and Minister for Lands & Natural Resources has equipped him with the knowledge and expertise to navigate the complexities of developing Ghana’s railway sector.
