The event was a dazzling showcase of cultural heritage, mesmerizing the audience with traditional dances. The Bawa dance from the Dagaaba (Dagati) people of the Upper West region and the Pogne dance, performed by the Frafra and Kassena from the Upper East region, were particularly electrifying moments that left the crowd spellbound.

Father Stephen Opoku delivered a poignant message, reminding everyone of our shared mortality. Drawing from Psalm 90 and Genesis, he urged humility, emphasizing that we come from the soil and to the soil we shall return. “Learn to be humble,” he pleaded, questioning why we harbor quarrels with others. He concluded with a heartfelt prayer for the bereaved family.

While attendance was modest, the presence of the chieftaincy council members was notable. Despite the smaller crowd, the evening was rich with culture, love, and community support. It was a night to remember, filled with unity and heartfelt tribute.
