Initially, their encounter seemed fleeting. However, when they reunited at Ghanafest in 2023, a spark ignited. Hadija’s delicious culinary offerings to Iddrisu and his friends revealed a deeper connection.
This second meeting marked the beginning of their romantic journey. They decided to attend the 2023 Damba Festival in Atlanta together, solidifying their bond. From that point on, their story unfolded beautifully.
They chose to elevate their relationship by gathering friends and family to announce their marriage decision. On September 7th, 2024, they celebrated their union with a joyous wedding. The event was filled with traditional performances, with Iddrisu himself taking an active role. The ceremony featured a delightful spread of authentic Ghanaian dishes.
