A Graceful Farewell: Honoring the Life of Mrs. Deborah Ferguson Terkper
With heavy hearts, the Anona Ebusua of Atwereboanda, the Terkpernor family of Somanya, and the Grant, Hagan, Terkper, and allied families solemnly announce the sudden passing of Mrs. Deborah Ferguson Terkper, who transitioned peacefully on July 7, 2025, in Fair Oaks, Virginia, USA, at the age of 63.
Deborah was a woman of profound grace and quiet strength. She was a beloved wife to Hon. Seth Terkper, distinguished Economic Advisor to the President of the Republic of Ghana; a devoted mother whose warmth illuminated every room; a cherished sister and cousin; and a respected member of her extended family and community. Her presence was a steady light—her absence is an immeasurable loss.
The family graciously invites all who knew and loved her to hold them in prayer during this time of grief, while also respecting their request for privacy as they navigate this deep sorrow.
