
Accra, Ghana – Samuel Koku Anyidoho, Founder and CEO of the MILLS Institute, has expressed profound gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for initiating moves to rename the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) in honour of the late President John Evans Atta Mills.
Koku Anyidoho described the decision as a long-overdue tribute to a man who shaped Ghana’s political and educational landscape. “It has been a struggle to keep the legacy of President Atta Mills alive, and this decision by President Mahama brings great joy to my heart,” he said.
According to Koku Anyidoho, the move represents more than just a symbolic gesture, but an important step toward healing and uniting the National Democratic Congress. “This illuminating move by President Mahama has opened a new path for building bridges within the NDC. Honouring our heroes is the surest way to keep our tradition alive,” he added.
Koku emphasized that all his efforts and prayers have yielded the desired results, and he looks forward to thanking President Mahama personally.
