The CEOs of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) have met to discuss a potential strategic alliance aimed at propelling Ghana’s economic advancement. The proposed partnership seeks to enhance export services and increase local investments.
GEPA’s CEO, Mr. Francis Kojo Kwarteng Arthur, outlined plans to broaden Ghana’s export offerings, including establishing a Ghanaian university campus in Nigeria to attract foreign direct investment and creating a medical diagnostics hub in Liberia to serve the region. GIPC’s CEO, Mr. Simon Madjie, expressed strong support for the collaboration and detailed plans for a nationwide roadshow to stimulate local investment across all districts.
The two agencies aim to work together to develop compelling investment proposals for regional stakeholders, with the goal of boosting Ghana’s economy through increased investment and export activities.
