Acting Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie has directed Dr. Cyracus Badinye Bapuuroh to assume the duties of Judicial Secretary, pending a decision by the Judicial Council and the appointment of a substantive Judicial Secretary. This decision follows the resignation of Justice Cyra Pamela Koranteng as the Judicial Secretary.

The resignation was accepted by the Judicial Council during its 291st meeting on March 26, 2025, where Justice Koranteng requested to be released from her duties. A memorandum from the Acting Chief Justice has been circulated, informing members of the Judiciary, the Judicial Service of Ghana, and the general public to take note of the development.

The directive ensures continuity in the administration of the Judiciary, with Dr. Bapuuroh taking over the responsibilities of the Judicial Secretary until a substantive appointment is made.
