Ghana’s Minister for Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has reiterated the government’s dedication to successfully implementing and completing crucial health projects. These projects include the COVID-19 response initiative and the Program-for-Results (PforR) project, which have been underway with the support of the World Bank.

The mission focused on infrastructure, environmental and social safeguards, financial management, and procurement. Mr.. Akandoh commended the participants for their dedication and acknowledged the rigorous schedule of the mission.

The Chief Director of the Ministry of Health also expressed appreciation for the World Bank’s continued support through regular implementation support missions.
