IGP Christian Tetteh Yohuno Reconstitutes Police Management Board

The new Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno has reconstituted the Police Management Board. This development, announced on March 19, 2025, aims to ensure effective management and operational control of the police service.

The reconstituted board includes the following new appointments:

  • Director-General, Research and Planning: COP/Mrs. Maame Yaa Tiwa Addo-Danquah
  • Service Workshop, Accra: COP/Mr. Paul Manly Awini
  • Director-General, Private Security Operations: COP/Mr. Daniel Kwame Afriyie
  • Director-General, Services: COP/Dr. Ernest Kwabena Owusu
  • Director-General, National Patrol Department: COP/Mr. Mohammed Fuseini Suraji
  • Director-General, Technical: COP/Dr. Sayibu Pabi Gariba
  • Director-General, Finance: COP/Mr. Michael Nketia Frempong
  • Director-General, Police Professional Standards Bureau: COP/Mr. Asumadu Okyere Darko
  • Director-General, Welfare: COP/Mr. Iddi Lansah Seidu

These changes are expected to strengthen the leadership of the Ghana Police Service and enhance its effectiveness in maintaining law and order.
