The World Health Organization (WHO) is rallying people around the world to join a global movement for health, emphasizing that health is a fundamental right, not a privilege. Building on the success of the #DollarWorld initiative, WHO is promoting unity, solidarity, action, and hope to inspire thousands worldwide to stand up for global health.
What began as a grassroots initiative by a WHO staff member has evolved into a global movement, with nearly 5,000 people from 140 countries already on board. WHO invites everyone to join the movement, advocating for health equity and access to care for those who need it most.
By working together, WHO aims to protect people from disease outbreaks, strengthen health systems, and ensure that everyone has access to essential healthcare services. The global movement for health is a call to action, encouraging individuals, communities, and organizations to unite and promote health as a fundamental human right.
