Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom passionately criticizes the Ghana Police and GFA for their handling of recent events. He highlights the questionable penalty call during a match between Ebusua Dwarfs and Elmina Sharks. The lack of action against imposters causing disruption, and the failure of the police to maintain order effectively was a concern he raised. Dr. Nduom also challenges the GFA to address issues directly with him, emphasizing their negligence and incompetence in promoting fair play and restoring love for football.
We present Dr. Nduom’s full writeup below:
What a SHAME!
This is ridiculous. Kelvin Aboagye is nobody’s suspect. If this is how the GFA and the Police want to handle this matter, we can play the game also. I talked to the police at the Nduom Stadium. I witnessed the dubious penalty first hand. There is a video of it. I personally assisted to keep order and the match continued. IF the GFA has a problem with me, they should they should bring it to me and leave those they think are helpless alone. There are THREE imposters who wore fake Sharks shirts to cause disruption. The police have apparently decided to leave them alone? We have videos and photos of them. How did All Blacks “strong men” happen to wear Sharks shirts to the Stadium and rush on the referee?
Was the District Police Commander not at the Stadium? Did he not see me there? And what I did? Does he not know that our Stadium is designed so that supporters can be locked away from the field of play? And that the police could have pushed all spectators away from the Stadium to allow time to get the referees out of there safely?
If it is me they want, I am available.
As for the GFA, they shouldn’t try at all. Waiting for them. FIFA money administrators. Is this how we bring back the love for football? Clueless!
