The President of Comoros, His Excellency Azali Assoumani, has arrived in Ghana to participate in the Africa Prosperity Dialogue 2025, currently underway in Accra. He was warmly welcomed at the airport by Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Special Aide to the President and Presidential Advisor, accompanied by his wife.
During his visit, President Assoumani is expected to meet with President John Dramani Mahama later today, fostering bilateral discussions and cooperation between the two nations. As the Chairperson of the African Union from February 2023 to February 2024, President Assoumani’s presence at the Africa Prosperity Dialogue 2025 underscores his commitment to promoting economic growth, development, and integration across the African continent.
As a seasoned politician and military officer, President Assoumani has been instrumental in shaping Comoros’ development agenda and strengthening regional cooperation. His participation in the Africa Prosperity Dialogue 2025 is anticipated to bring valuable insights and perspectives to the discussions, ultimately contributing to the realization of Africa’s prosperity vision.
