Mahama Appoints New Ministers to Key Portfolios

President John Dramani Mahama has announced his latest ministerial appointments, naming Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa as the new Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration. This move is part of the president’s efforts to strengthen his administration and address key national and regional issues.

Other notable appointments include Dr. Edward Omane Boamah as Minister for Defence, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak as Minister for the Interior, and Felix Kwakye Ofosu as Minister of State for Government Communications.

The appointments also saw Samuel Nartey George, MP for Prampram, being named Minister for Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, while Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, MP for Ellembelle, will serve as Minister for Lands and Natural Resources.

These nominations have been submitted to Parliament for vetting and approval, marking a significant step towards shaping the country’s governance and development trajectory.
