“Do Not Sex Here Again”: A Curious Encounter in Ghana

Amazon Store

On my rounds in Ghana, I stumbled upon a scene that left me both amused and bewildered. There, amidst the hustle and bustle of an ongoing construction site, stood a pack of cement bricks neatly stacked near the cinder of a half-built structure. But it wasn’t the bricks or the building that caught my eye—it was the makeshift sign perched atop the pile.

Scrawled in bold, uneven letters on a piece of cardboard was a warning that read: “Do Not Sex Here Again.”

I couldn’t help but chuckle at the unexpected directive. Who had been engaging in such activities among the cement and dust? And what prompted the need for such a public admonishment? My mind boggles at the possibilities.

As I continued my rounds, I couldn’t shake the image of that sign from my mind. It served as a quirky reminder that life is full of surprises, and sometimes, even the most mundane settings can hold a touch of humor and mystery.
