Libertyville, IL –Yesterday, November 23rd , 2024, members of Okuapeman Fekuw of Chicago gathered for a heartwarming and impactful event at Feed My Starving Children in Libertyville, Illinois. This marks their fourth consecutive year of engaging in this essential initiative. The team was delighted to once again contribute to such a meaningful cause.
During their shift, the organization demonstrated remarkable teamwork and dedication. Their collective energy and enthusiasm translated into an impressive achievement: as they successfully packed a total of 138 boxes, containing an astounding 29,808 meals. These meals, essential for nourishing children in need worldwide, amounted to a total cost of $8,644.44.
In addition to their hands-on efforts, the spirit of giving extended further with a generous donation. The President of the Association ,Mr. Eric Boafo , presented Feed My Starving Children with a $250 contribution, underscoring the association’s ongoing commitment to supporting their mission and making a tangible difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate.
This event not only highlights the power of community and collaboration but also serves as a reminder of the impact that dedicated groups can have in addressing global hunger.
