Ghana’s Ministry of Health, in partnership with the KOFIH Ghana Office, has commissioned three health facilities in the Oti region. The facilities include the Likpe Bukua Polyclinic, Dzindziso Community-Based Health Planning and Services Compound, and Chantai CHPS Compound.
These facilities aim to improve healthcare access, provide quality services, and focus on preventive measures through health education. The Likpe polyclinic, initially constructed in 1965, has undergone rehabilitation and is now equipped with modern equipment.
Local leaders and health officials emphasized the importance of these facilities in reducing health risks and ensuring community members receive timely care. KOFIH reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Ghana’s healthcare sector through infrastructure development, logistics, and capacity building.
