Celebrating Mercy Kwarkor Awwal-Allmon: A Tribute to a Beloved Sister
Does this resonate with the tone you’re aiming for? Let me know if you need any adjustments! 🌹✨
The Ewe community of Metropolitan Chicago is set to gather for a poignant and heartfelt memorial service in honor of our beloved sister, Mercy Kwarkor Awwal-Allmon. The service will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Living Comfort Ministries. This event will not only celebrate Mercy’s life but also serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of community and togetherness.

Mercy Kwarkor Awwal-Allmon’s journey was marked by extraordinary circumstances. Despite her isolation from community gatherings due to unforeseen challenges, her spirit remained resilient and her love for her family, unwavering. Tragically, Mercy passed away in her sleep at home, with her eight-year-old son, who is autistic, by her side, while her husband, Reggie Allmon, was at work. The bond she shared with her family transcended any barriers, illustrating the profound connection that defined her life.
Mercy’s story is one of strength, love, and perseverance. She was married to Reggie Allmon, an African American, and together they navigated the complexities of life with grace and compassion. Her passing is a significant loss to both her family and our community.
In a touching gesture of respect and honor, Mercy’s body will be repatriated to Ghana for burial and final funeral rites. This act symbolizes a return to her roots and a connection to her homeland, ensuring that she rests in the place where her heart belonged.
The memorial service at Living Comfort Ministries will be an opportunity for all of us to come together, remember Mercy’s life, and support her family during this difficult time. As we gather, we will not only pay tribute to her memory but also reaffirm the strength and unity of our community.
We extend a warm invitation to all Milenorvisi to join us in celebrating Mercy’s life. Your presence will not only provide comfort to her family but also reinforce the bonds that hold us together. Let us come together to honor Mercy and show our solidarity.
God bless you richly.
