Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has taken his “Possibility Campaign” to the Western North Region, specifically targeting the Bia East, West, and Aowin constituencies. The vice president is selling his “Bold Solutions for Business and Jobs” to constituents, highlighting the government’s achievements and his vision for Ghana’s future.
During separate engagements in Aowin and Adabokrom, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the government’s commitment to transforming the educational sector. He announced plans to provide computer tablets to teachers and students, enhancing teaching and learning. The presidential candidate promised to address long-standing challenges, uplift lives, support vulnerable populations, improve the economy, and undertake massive infrastructure development nationwide.
In Aowin Constituency, Dr. Bawumia met with stakeholders, followed by a visit to Adabokrom in Bia East. The Queenmother of Adabokrom, Obaahemaa Afua Henewaa, praised the government’s development initiatives in the area and presented additional requests. Dr. Bawumia pledged to address these concerns and bring the Chieftaincy institution closer to the government to support national development.
Dr. Bawumia outlined his policies, focusing on tax reforms to stimulate economic growth, industrialized agriculture to boost food production, solar energy to promote renewable energy, a gold purchase program to support the cedi, training one million youth in digitization to enhance skills, and a credit scoring system to facilitate access to credit.
He urged the gathering to vote for him in the upcoming elections, emphasizing his commitment to moving Ghana to its next phase of development.
