
Accra, Sept. 26, 2024 – The Ministry of Information has demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility by presenting a GH¢10,000 cash donation to the National Radiotherapy Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Centre at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
The donation, made during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, aims to support the centre’s efforts in combating cancer and promoting healthcare in Ghana.
In addition to the financial contribution, the Ministry organized an educational talk for its staff to raise awareness about prostate cancer, emphasizing the importance of early detection and prevention.
The presentation ceremony was part of the Ministry’s #MoIGoesBlue campaign, highlighting its support for prostate cancer awareness.
This gesture underscores the Ministry’s dedication to giving back to the community and promoting health education.
