It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Amaa Papafio, the beloved wife of Mr. Emmanuel Papafio. Mr. Papafio is an elder and a long-time emcee in the Ghanaian community affectionately known as the “Chicago Mayor.” The sad news was shared by the leadership of the Ghanaian Islamic community in Chicago through social media platforms.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family and loved ones of Auntie Amaa. May Allah (SWT) grant her forgiveness and elevate her ranks in Jannah. May Allah (SWT) also grant patience and strength to her family during this difficult time.
