Tamale, Northern Region – The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to officially launch its 2024 election campaign on Saturday, July 27, at the Jubilee Park in Tamale, under the theme “Change to Reset Ghana.” Party members have started arriving in the city, with thousands expected to attend the event.
Flagbearer John Dramani Mahama is expected to unveil his 24-hour economic policy and the $10 billion ‘Big Push’ plan to fix Ghana’s economy. The NDC promises to create jobs, provide infrastructure for accelerated development, and unite against poverty.
Mahama emphasized the importance of party unity and urged members to spread the NDC’s vision through various means. He also stressed the need for vigilance on election day, ensuring the integrity of the ballot boxes and upholding democratic values.
The campaign launch is seen as a crucial moment for the NDC, with Mahama predicted to draw an unprecedented local crowd from the five regions within the Northern Zone of Ghana. The party is confident that its message of change and reset will resonate with Ghanaians, paving the way for a successful election outcome.
